8, Engineering Drawing System Solutions
The CATIA V5 engineering drawing module is cumbersome to operate and can only meet the most basic use requirements. For example, without the automatic generation function of the title bar, users have to manually create the title bar, and some functions do not conform to the national standard, such as the guide number, which cannot be used by designers. In response to the above situation, Jiangda Science and Technology Research Group has carried out secondary development of the Drafting module since 2008, which has been applied to several domestic automobile OEMs, and the situation is good. The secondary development solution includes the following functional modules: attribute definition, title bar, schedule, technical requirements, coordinate line, drawing cleaning and guide serial number. This solution not only meets the basic functions such as title bar creation, but also realizes the functions such as the association of three-dimensional and two-dimensional information, the association of the guide serial number and the schedule. In terms of data maintenance, this scheme is compatible with CATIA, abandoning the database, and all data information is stored in the document.
