RAMSIS is currently the only human-machine simulation software used for human factors engineering design, analysis, and validation in driving and riding environments. RAMSIS helps us conduct human factors engineering design, analysis, and validation early in the design process, developing comfortable and safe user-friendly products, minimizing later design modifications and human-machine testing.

 

RAMSIS Software Technical Features

1.1 Human Body Model Structure

The RAMSIS human body model consists of a skeleton that can simulate movement, a realistic human exterior, and various optional shoe models, featuring visual perception and muscle strength parameters.

1.2 Human Measurement Database

Based on the world's largest human measurement database, RAMSIS enables you to generate target groups for the global market. RAMSIS can predict trends in human body size changes, and the built-in size relationships in the human size database ensure that the created human samples actually exist.

1.3 Automatic Posture Calculation

Using posture test data, posture models for drivers and passengers of cars, airplanes, and engineering vehicles have been established. Based on the posture model, RAMSIS can automatically calculate the most likely posture of a dummy in a geometric model environment according to the defined positional constraints between humans and machines.

Based on the actual positions and postures of drivers and passengers obtained from simulation calculations, comprehensive human-machine design and analysis are conducted. The basic analysis functions of RAMSIS include: field of view analysis, internal and external rearview mirror analysis, posture comfort evaluation, reachability calculations for various operations, and force analysis.
